Take the following example for mydomain.com
server1.mydomain.com is the hostname for a webhosting server.
mydomain.com is also the main website for the business running that server and is also one of the apache websites on server
The ecommerce cms could be put onto a different server however, i was hoping to have it under the same parent domain...ie whmcs.mydomain.com or billing.mydomain.com
Server does not host dns
Is this a problem?
If so why? What are the pro's/con's for having this setup?
