We have two bare metal physcial hosts with large capacity - 1TB RAM, 56 cpu and 1 TB HDD on each.
We are starting to adopt OpenStack for private cloud setup and bit confused with all the samples, tutorials only demonstrating OpenStack setup on VMs.
Should we create KVM based VMs and install OpenStack components in it or we can just install OpenStackk components directly on bare metals?
Also if components are inside VM, how would it provision additional VMs? Will it be Nested virtual machines?
Can someone please advise on the best practices for OpenStack setup on bare metal?
