I do have a small "file server" with Windows 7 configured in the office. When users with Windows 8.1 tries to copy or put the data to server via Windows Explorer it takes hours to just make a copy of few megabytes. But when I connect to the "file server" with Remote Desktop and I run the copy within the Remote Desktop from the same Laptop the copy of the files is very fast as it should be.
Any ideas why it's so slow with Windows Explorer but fast with Remote Desktop?
