Terraform vsphere provider, systems deployed with /var read only
What is the recommended way to version VMware Templates?ESXi 5.5 + vCSA UpgradeVMWare Error: Read-only file system during write onVMware customization not working when creating Ubuntu VM from templateAdd second network to vsphere terraform planTerraform: How to set guestOS in terraform vsphere VMCIDR not taking as variable in terraform for AWS providerTerraform openstack provider fixed attribute length? Can i output a provider from a module in terraform?Terraform-provider-matchbox not generating certs
I have set up terraform using the vsphere provider to deploy systems from templates on my ESXi 5.5 lab environment.
I created a templated SOE and have deployed several systems all of which have been found to have /var mounted read only after being booted. After an fsck this was corrected.
At first I thought this must have come from the template, however I checked the template and it did not have any issues with /var being read-only.
Has anyone seen such behaviour before?
Cheers
Andy
