Do these "Items" include "folders and docuemnts" or just "folders"?

Folders are not counted as items.
I think you're wrong. I think it does count folders as Items. I just wrote a program that counted the number of files I uploaded, and also counted the number of folders I created, and they add up to be the number in the Items column.

I'm looking at mine right now, its a knowledgebase with 155 articles. I just added a folder, and it is showing 155 items.

I think you're wrong. I think it does count folders as Items. I just wrote a program that counted the number of files I uploaded, and also counted the number of folders I created, and they add up to be the number in the Items column.
